Soul
Dance Wings of Isis are
made from pearl organza. The different coloured wings are either
two or three toned colours, which gives the unique and radiant
colour shifting effect as you move and dance. The changing colours
are dazzling and the effect is mezmerizing.

The
wings of isis are made to attach around the neck.The comfortable
neckpiece fastens with velcro at the back and is easily
adjustable to fit any size neck. Each neckpiece is adorned
with beautifully woven ribbon that compliments the colour
of the wings. |
Light and durable,
clear lucite rods are sewn into the front seam of each wing.
The rods are secured in reinforced pockets to prevent tearing
of the material. To dance with the wings, simply grasp the rods
lightly in the palm of your hand and lift off. See the links
section for dancing tips. When you are not moving or dancing
with the wings simply let go of the rods and each wing drapes
elegantly down the back and is worn like an ethereal cape.
The Soul Dance
wings are professionally pleated with permanent pleats in Canada
using a high pressure steam process. The pleats in the wings
are finely tapered creating a special sunburst pattern.
Care
for the wings
The pleats in
the wings are permanent but if they are left in a heap they
may get unnecessary creases, always hang your wings when you
are not wearing them to avoid creasing them. You can spot wash
them in a tub of cold water and hang to dry (do not wring them
out). If they are very dirty have them professionally cleaned
and pressed, please do not do this yourself. Treat the wings
with love and care as they are made with a delicate fabricate.

Layering
The wings
of isis can be layered by wearing two wings .Wearing one
over the other creates an amazing effect and is very different
than wearing each color alone. Sehra loves to layer the
wings because of the added dimension that it creates when
she dances.

Choosing the right size
The length
of the wings should reach to your ankle at the longest, to avoid
stepping on the hem. The wings are available in two lengths:(47"-
50") and (51"-54").
We can custom
create longer wings for taller people. Contact us with your
measurements. It will take longer to receive them, please expect
4-6 weeks.
To determine
which size you want measure from the back of your neck, where
the neckpiece will fasten, to your ankles. You should have at
least 2 inches between where the hem will end and the ground.
